LATER FLETCHER CLASS

Anglo-Americans (US Navy)

DESTROYER

The ships of the Fletcher class were probably the finest destroyers of WW2. The first group of vessels were laid down just before the US enteredt the war, and were first used in the naval battles around Guadalcanal. Since 1943 the 'Later Fletcher' was built, where among other details, especially the anti-aircraft armament was improved.
